It all started as a hobby in 2009, while my now husband Taylor, and I lived abroad. Back then I was obsessed with travel. Well, still am. When my first daughter was born in 2012, I fell in LOVE with the results of portrait photography. That grew to taking photos of Newborns and Family’s. Which then turned to a love of Maternity, and then Boudoir. I specialized in Boudoir for about 5 years, opened my first and then second photography rental studio, and dabbled with some branding photography in between. When Jodie, one of my branding clients, turned friends, asked if I was interested in co-hosting branding retreats in Europe, I jumped on the idea. My two loves, travel and photography? Hell yes. Thus, Escape to Elevate was created.

So where am I now?

Well on our first Branding retreat in Italy, I witnessed myself on a level I had never been. The challenge of creating 7 custom photoshoots to 7 different brands in one villa was all I needed to reignite my fire. I fell in LOVE with branding photography. I fell in love with the entrepreneurial women who I had the uttermost privilege to photograph.

Now, I am completely shifting from a full-time boudoir photographer, to a full blown branding photographer, retreat co-host as well as studio rental owner. I am so lit up to take photos of you, that represent your brand through images that pull out your soul to the surface. It’s not just about props and gear, it’s about you, and how we can make magic together.

So yeah, there’s my ramble about my work life. At home, I love quality time with my family, it’s actually my favourite thing. I love travelling with them, spending time at the lake, paddle boarding, yoga, and going on long walks and hikes with my hubby. I have 2 cats, June and Evie, who are so adorable, and the best group of women I surround myself with in my spare time.
